Celebrate the Small Things-December 11, 2015 and Self-Help 101 Blog Tour Day #9

It's Friday!  Let's Celebrate the Small Things with Lexa Cain!  Tonja Drecker and I are her co-hosts.

First of all, the blog tour for my Christmas novella Self-Help 101 or: How I Learned to Take Over the World Through Tolerating My Family continues with Patricia Lynne. Today's topic is candy canes.

If you'd like to enter for a chance to win a free e-copy of my novella, enter below.

Poor Jude got sick and had to miss the Christmas concert he's been looking forward to for weeks.  He also had to miss Doughnuts for Dads this morning, which is where dads go to the school in the morning to eat doughnuts with their kids.  I feel so bad for him having to miss two fun things he was looking forward to, but the good news is that he isn't too sick.  He's vomited a couple of times, and his temperature hasn't gotten above 100, so it could be far worse.

My writing progress has been a little slower this week, but I'm still making progress, so I'm happy about that.

The weather here has been really good this week, and I'm definitely glad to see that.

What would you like to celebrate?

  1. Sorry to hear your son was sick. My kids were sick this week, too. My son missed the first day of his new go-kart league that he had been looking forward to for a long time. Hopefully, he'll get there next week. Have a great weekend!

  2. Poor Jude...what a bummer. :( I'm glad to hear about your writing progress. I have every intention of asking for an ARC and reviewing your new story, but I'm still swamped with all the stuff I left undone to finish a full revision in Nov. And soon more beta & CP feedback will start coming in, so there'll be a bit more editing to do. Maybe I'll be free after Christmas. *crossing fingers* :)

  5. So sorry to hear Jude's missing out on so much. That stupid bug is going around here too, but we've been lucky so far (I should keep my mouth shut). Enjoy the weather!
